Poof New Roof ("we," "us") operates poofnewroof.com, a free referral and matching service that connects homeowners with independent roofing contractors in Southern California. When you submit a quote request, we select up to three (3) contractors from our network and share your request with them so they can contact you and provide estimates. Our service is free to homeowners; contractors pay us fees to participate in the network, which is how we fund the service. Those fees are not added to your quotes.
We are a referral service only. We do not perform, supervise, or warrant roofing work, and we are not a party to any contract between you and a contractor. Each contractor in our network is an independent business solely responsible for its own licensing, insurance, quotes, workmanship, warranties, safety practices, and compliance with law.
Before admitting contractors to our network, we verify that they hold an active California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) roofing classification, carry general liability insurance and the state-required contractor bond, and pass our review of reputation and complaint history; we re-check licenses periodically. Vetting reduces risk but is not a guarantee: license and insurance status can change, and we encourage you to independently verify any contractor at cslb.ca.gov before signing a contract, and to confirm current insurance certificates directly.
By submitting a quote request with the consent box checked, you agree that we and up to three (3) matched contractors may contact you by phone, text (SMS), and email — including via automated technology — about your project, as described in our Privacy Policy. Consent is not a condition of purchase, message and data rates may apply, and you can revoke consent at any time (reply STOP to texts, or email poofnewroof@gmail.com).
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE QUALITY, SAFETY, LEGALITY, PRICING, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY CONTRACTOR'S WORK, THAT ANY CONTRACTOR WILL CONTACT YOU OR PROVIDE A QUOTE, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POOF NEW ROOF WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM WORK PERFORMED BY, OR YOUR DEALINGS WITH, ANY CONTRACTOR. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Poof New Roof from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your dealings with any contractor, except to the extent caused by our own misconduct.
These terms are governed by California law. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at poofnewroof@gmail.com and give us 30 days to work toward an informal resolution. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California.
We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest version, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service.
